Liquid-Liquid Extraction System

The turnkey process system developed by our company for producing nutraceuticals from vegetable oils such as Crude Palm Oil, Rice Bran oil, Gingely oil, Mustard oil and other phyto emulsions include the following workstations:

Section A Feed preparation section, which contains Emulsion preparation.
Section B Liquid-Liquid extraction system, which contains Extractors, Heat Exchangers and intermediate Storage Tanks.
Section C Phase separators and tanks
Section D Distillation section, which contains Two Stage Evaporative System and its accessory equipments.
Section E Concentration section, where in a Thin Film Evaporator/Molecular Distillation /ATFE is employed
Section F Drying section contains Driers, Condensers and Allied Equipments.

Extraction System

Our extractors are of different types, viz., counter current, co current, self mixing and agitation type. We select and recommend the extractors as per the process needs. Our extractors are suitable for hot process (using steam). Our extractors are integrated with a unique desolventization system, which ensures the maximum recovery of solvents and safe disposal of spent materials. Our extractors are having bottom opening (both manual and automatic) for the discharge of the phases.

Our extractors are designed and fabricated as per ASME standard codes. The electrical components in the extractors conform to all international standards.

The extraction efficiency of our extractors is 98%. Our extraction systems are designed in such a way that it gives a high recovery of phytonutrient extracts using optimum solvents levels (stoichiometry) , lesser extraction time and lesser solvent loss (maximum solvent recovery).

Filtration/Phase separation System

The filtration system/phase separation system is a packed column with baffles at specific intervals. It has an automated three way valve for discharging heavy phase and light phase based on the specific gravity.

Distillation and Concentration System

We use multiple effect evaporative systems using a LOW TEMPERATURE SHORT CONTACT DISTILLATION PATH (LTSCDP). Hence the extracts produced are of having intact phytonutrients with high concentrations of phytochemicals in the extracts. The thermal degradation is completely avoided.

We offer the distillation and concentration system with a unique and proprietary integration of forced circulation evaporation and molecular distillation systems. The number of stages of forced circulation evaporation depends on the volume of miscella to be evaporated. Our LTSCDP is integrated with secondary condensers for maximum recovery of solvents. This is achieved by applying chilled water.

Clean Green Biosystems design and install Low Temperature Short contact distillation path of flow rate ranging from 50 LPH to 5000 LPH.


Drying System

We offer Vacuum tray driers, rotacone driers, ribbon driers of various capacities. We supply suitable vacuum systems for the driers.

Downstream Processing System

We offer downstream processing systems to produce various fractions of edible oils. We also offer purification systems like column chromatography, ANFD, crystallizer, fractionation columns, washing columns, separating columns, etc.
